RTS 04: Why Kevin Strange Quit Social Media

READING TO STRANGERS is BACK with a new episode that’s sure to ruffle the feathers of the regressive left, as usual. This time, our fearless hosts Kevin and Jeremy serenade your pink pussy hats with the FINAL part of Kevin’s weird monster novelette, THE HUMANS UNDER THE BED.

After the break, Kevin goes on a classic rant about why Myspace was infinitely better than Facebook and why he’s finally peaced out from social media altogether. And it wouldn’t be an episode of RTS without Kevin flipping out about social media writing cliques.

After he catches his breath The Strange One previews next week’s show, “On H.P. Lovecraft’s Racism” and the theme for February: H.P. Lovecraft. After that they end the show by previewing next month’s serialized story: MCHUMANS.

RTS 02: What If Edward Lee Was An SJW Scapegoat?

Kevin and Jeremy return for another action packed episode of READING TO STRANGERS! The boys get us up to speed on all things strange before jumping into part 2 of the serial saga of THE HUMANS UNDER THE BED!

Returning from break, the perverted duo jump right into Kevin Strange’s alternate dimension where infamous gunman Dylann Roof proudly displays an Edward Lee horror novel on his social media instead of a confederate flag. They discuss the many ways our culture would react to such a revelation and then illustrate the blatant hypocrisy that many in the publishing industry display when virtue signalling for the removal of things like the confederate flag from online retail stores.

After a quick preview of next week’s show “Pop Culture Convention Survival Guide for White Guys” they end the show.

Reading To Strangers Ep 1: Strange Vs Bizarro

Welcome back, gang! As promised, we bring to you the inaugural episode of the brand new READING TO STRANGERS podcast right here at KevinTheStrange.com! This week, my handsome co-host Jeremy Daniels and I jump right in to all of the current, most up to date controversies surrounding my place in bizarro fiction.

As you’d expect, my rant is long winded but relevant. I try to illustrate the dangers of an entire genre of fiction existing inside a tiny echo chamber, and I rededicate my promise to speak out against the liberal social justice police at every turn.

We then premiere for the first time ANYWHERE the first of 4 parts of my audio book THE HUMANS UNDER THE BED produced, mixed and edited by the AWESOME TimO at the Raven’s Nest studio. TimO and I have been down for years, ever since the Hack Movies days (and even before that when I was a fanboy of his band Fragile Porcelain Mice as a teenager)  so it was an honor to collaborate with him once again.

Finally, we jump back into the studio, finish up ranting about bizarro and social justice and then preview next week’s episode titled “What if Edward Lee was an SJW Scapegoat?” Be sure to tune in next week for that, as well as the next weird, wild part of the HUMANS UNDER THE BED audio book.
